With to honor the memory of the Center’s founder, Don José Manuel Álvarez Gil, and to encourage literary creativity among young people, Colegio San José announces the XXXII José Manuel Álvarez Gil National Short Story Contest..
Until February 28, 2026, all students who met the requirements set out in the contest rules could register their works on the contest website.
Colegio San José is the first school in the province of Malaga in the Ranking of the 100 Best Schools in Spain published by the newspaper El Mundo.
Forbes Magazine once again places Colegio San José among the 100 Best Schools in Spain.

Después de más de 100 kilómetros y días de mochilas, risas y de ayudarse unos a otros para no dejar a nadie atrás, nuestros alumnos han llegado a la Catedral de Santiago y han conseguido su Compostela, que acredita que han hecho el Camino con esfuerzo, sentido y corazón de verdaderos peregrinos.
Han salido del Colegio siendo compañeros y han llegado a Santiago siendo un equipo. ¡Una experiencia inolvidable que formará parte de su mochila para toda la vida! ¡Enhorabuena peregrinos!
After more than 100 kilometers and days of backpacks, laughter, and helping one another so no one was left behind, our students have reached the Cathedral of Santiago and earned their Compostela, certifying that they completed the Camino with the effort, purpose, and heart of true pilgrims.

Hace unas semanas comenzaba el reto en la Isla de los Guardianes del Verano y hoy despedimos el mes de julio con un recuerdo lleno de momentos compartidos: deportes, actividades artísticas, juegos, actividades acuáticas, natación, excursiones y muchas aventuras que han hecho de cada día una nueva experiencia.
Y esto todavía no ha terminado… ¡Seguimos disfrutando juntos durante la primera quincena de agosto!
